Overview
This "Flow-Mate" model submersible pump is designed for use in residential or light commerical dewatering applications and can be used to transfer groundwater or effluent. This durable cast iron pump includes a powder coated epoxy finish to prevent corrosion and is designed to provide great heat dissipation from the motor, ensuring a long service life. As with every Zoeller pump, each one is 100% pressure-tested, submerged and run to ensure quality and reliability for years of trouble-free performance! This attention to detail is an inherent feature of every pump, making it one of the most reliable in the industry.
- Corrosion-resistant, powder-coated epoxy finish
- Durable, cast iron construction
- Cast iron switch case, motor, pump housing and base
- No sheet metal parts to rust or corrode
- All castings are cast iron class 25-30 25000# tensile strength
- Stainless steel screws, guard, handle, arm and seal assembly
- Float-operated 2-pole mechanical switch
- Permanent split capacitor motor, oil-filled and hermetically-sealed, automatic reset thermal overload protection
- Bearings - upper and lower oil-fed cast iron
- Carbon and ceramic shaft seal
- Entire unit pressure-tested after assembly
- Watertight, neoprene square ring between motor and pump housing
- Maximum termperature for effluent or dewatering: 130 Degrees F (54 Degrees C)
- Passes 1/2" (13 mm) spherical solids
- No screens to clog
- 1-1/2" NPT discharge (1-1/2" x 2" PVC adapter included with BN and BE models)
